Golden Opportunity for Needy Students
Through BARTI and the Student Helping Hands Organization, students pursuing B.Sc., M.Sc., B. Pharma, and M. Pharma are being offered free training as well as job opportunities in companies.
In the previous batch, out of 40 selected students, 22 successfully secured jobs. This time too, it is requested that more students take advantage of this initiative.
The reason is that in Maharashtra, a large number of young people work in the pharmaceutical sector. However, the proportion of students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in this field is very low. In most colleges, during campus recruitment processes, students from these categories rarely get opportunities. As a result, even after completing undergraduate and postgraduate education related to pharmaceuticals, many qualified students remain unemployed.
Against this backdrop, in order to provide guidance to Scheduled Caste students regarding employment and training opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, and to give them a chance to directly interact with reputed pharmaceutical companies, the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI) along with the Student Helping Hands Organization is striving to provide students with solid opportunities for training and employment.

An inspiring and unforgettable gift
Today, I met the great Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's granddaughter, Respected Anjalitai Prakash Ambedkar. This meeting was heart-touching, introspective and life-long inspiring.Despite being the heirs of such a great tradition of thought and blood, they have no arrogance. I was truly overwhelmed.
This meeting made me realize that “the older a person is, the more creative and full of humanity they are.”
I strongly felt that Dr. Babasaheb's thoughts are not only in books or speeches, but are still alive today through the behavior of such great personalities. This meeting made my mind emotional. It gave me new energy. When I meet such people, I feel...Thoughts are immortal, and humanity is their true identity.

Unforgettable Moments of Joy
Today, our dream of providing world-class education to students from rural areas has truly gained momentum. District Collector Kirti Pujari and CEO Mr. Mainak Ghosh have taken a major step by approving a pilot project to introduce an international-standard curriculum in rural schools.
Through this project, rural students will gain access to advanced information, global opportunities, modern teaching methods and global exposure, which will surely bring a positive transformation in their lives.
Through the guidance of Dr. Nikhil Sapre from the University of Bristol, London, this world-class curriculum will be made available for Zilla Parishad schools.
Along with this, strong initiatives will also be implemented for the overall development of women. Special courses, training programmes and opportunities will be provided to empower women, with complete support from the administration.
This is indeed a moment of great happiness. Hope Welfare Foundation and Student Helping Hands are playing a significant role in making this transformative initiative a reality.
This is not just a project, but a strong step towards creating a bright future for rural students, empowering women and bringing about meaningful social change.

Visit of BARTI Director General Sunil Ware Sir to Student Helping Hands Office
About a month ago, I had told Sir, “You must come and see how the organization actually works.” Yesterday, Sir came in person. His father had recently passed away, and even the tenth-day rituals were not yet over… still, keeping his word, he made time to come. This sense of commitment and awareness of human values touched me deeply.
He spent a full two hours at the office. I have known him for the last two years. I have also criticized his work and written about it harshly; yet, he never showed bitterness, anger, or resentment. On the contrary, whenever we met, he encouraged me with words like, “Keep doing your work, it’s good work,” and maintained a healthy dialogue. This generosity and distinctiveness of his always stands out to me.
He guided us on many topics such as the future course of the organization’s work, lessons to be learned from experiences abroad, ways of securing support for social initiatives, and the new education policy.
Recently, he has been selected to the state government’s committee for preparing the “Developed Maharashtra 2047” vision document, and he also shared insights related to that.
Though I have often written about his working style in BARTI, he never expressed displeasure, nor asked why I wrote so. Instead, he maintained cordiality and contributed with the spirit of doing what is good for the institution.
His cheerful, humble nature, social commitment, and the time he gave us are truly inspiring.
Heartfelt thanks to him on behalf of Student Helping Hands.
